Web Browsers

Web browsers may not display YackPack properly or "time out" when establishing a connection. This often is due to browser settings and/or MacroMedia Flash plug-in settings.

To troubleshoot, try the following:

 

Install the latest MacroMedia (now Adobe) free Flash browser software plug- in.

Clear the "cached" files on the browser.

Internet Explorer users: click on "Tools", "Internet Options", "Delete Files", check the box "Delete All Offline Content" then click "O. K.".


Safari users click on:"Safari" tab, "Empty Cache" then click on "Empty".

Change the MacroMedia Flash Accept / Deny pop-up settings to make sure they are set to "accept" instead of "deny" connections.
