Login
Your login in YackPack is the email address with which you registered. To login to your YackPack group(s), go to: www.yackpack.net. You can bookmark this page easily by clicking Ctrl +D (on a PC) and Command+B (on a Macintosh).
Because YackPack is Web-based, you can login on another computer as long as you have an internet connection. That means wherever you go, YackPack isn’t far away!

Remember Me
If you would like your browser to remember your login and password information for YackPack, simply check the box for “remember my login information so I don’t have to type it in next time.”
Note that if multiple people are using the same computer to access YackPack, this may not be a good idea because if you have your login information remembered, it’s possible that anybody going to www.yackpack.net, will automatically load your YackPack account. When multiple people share the same computer for YackPack, we advise not using this feature.
If you click the logout button to exit YackPack, please note that this is signing you out and YackPack won’t remember you the next time you come to login. To exit YackPack and keep the “remember me” status, make sure you either navigate to another webpage from the same browser window you have YackPack open in or just close the browser window.

Logout
There is an option on the YackPack interface to logout of YackPack. Clicking this button will take you to the login page and your session will be ended. This also means that if you have your login and password remembered this information will be cleared. If you want to keep this information remembered you should simply navigate to a different web page or close your browser window to end your session. The logout button is particularly handy for people who share the same computer to access YackPack.

Forgotten Passwords
To get a new password, just go to the login screen and click the button for “forgot your password?” We’ll send you a new password by email. As soon as you have logged in with the password sent to you, it can be changed to something more meaningful or memorable. To update your password, log in to YackPack. Click the circular, blue info button on your picture. Next click the “Edit Settings” button. This will present you with a screen where you may change and confirm your new password.

Changing Your Email Address:
If your email address has changed you can still login with your old email address. Your email address is something that uniquely identifies you and provides the correct address to which yack notifications are sent. If you wish to change the email address you use to access your YackPack account and which is used to receive yack notifications, you will need to change it after logging into YackPack with your old email address.
To change your email address in YackPack it’s necessary to visit your account settings. Here’s how: after logging in, click on the circular, blue information button on your picture. Next, click on the “edit settings” button. Type in and confirm your new email address and click the “update settings” button. You will be sent an email to confirm that this new email address does indeed belong to you. It is similar to the one you received when registering. Clicking on the link in that email will confirm your new email address and you will be ready to use YackPack with your new information.
