You can get started with YackPack in two ways:

An Audio Forum is a YackPack group that allows anyone to listen to messages. You can: Listen to one of the Audio Forums in our directory Or start your own Audio Forum You can start your own YackPack group and exchange voice messages with other members. You can keep your group private, or make it an Audio Forum, allowing anyone to listen. Click to start your own YackPack group - it's easy. To allow anyone to listen, check the box labeled "Make this pack an Audio Forum."

You'll need a headset or speakers to listen to messages, and a mic if you want to send them. Get help setting them up. Don't have a microphone? Order one here.

NOTE: This is a beta version of YackPack. This means that you may encounter an occasional bug or missing feature. We encourage your feedback - send us an email to report bugs or offer suggestions.

Here are some known issues (we're in the process of fixing these):

1. YackPack does not yet work well with some browsers. We suggest you use Internet Explorer for now.
2. Some email programs may put YackPack email messages into your "bulk" or "spam" folder. Please tell your pack members to check their bulk email folders for YackPack email notifications - including the invitation to join your pack.
3. If you have a dial-up connection, you may experience long pauses when listening to a message. If you're experiencing this, you may want to ask your pack members to keep their messages to you nice and short.
