| Asynchronous Voice Messages |
Asynchronous voice messaging is a way to send a message to one or more people in your group in three steps: click, talk, and send. Asynchronous messages can be sent and listened to at any time, making it very convenient to stay in touch with a group that has varying schedules, lives in different time zones, or just needs to get a message across without needing immediate response. Voice messages are recorded and saved. Recipients get an email saying you’ve sent them a message. They click on a link in the email to login and listen. To send a voice message click on the picture of the person(s) you want to receive your message. You can click on more than one picture to send a message to a group of people. An orange highlight will appear around each person you select. If you want to send a message to everybody at once, just click the “select all” button at the bottom of the circle.
You can also preview a message before sending it. When you are done recording a message, click the “stop” button instead of sending it. When the “play” button turns green, click it to hear your recorded message. If you like it, click “send.” If you would like to re-record your message simply click the “record” button again and start over. Asynchronous voice messages that are saved indefinitely in the message archive unless the sender or pack creator deletes it. |
