Meet
The YackPack Team
Hi, my name is BJ. I'm a researcher,
teacher, and innovator at Stanford University. My life's work is
to create and share technology that makes people happier. That's
why I started YackPack. I've never made big decisions based on
money -- only on passion and potential for impact. This has always
taken me in the right direction. Along the way I've found great
teammates, like the YackPack folks on this page. (For more on me,
type "bj
fogg" into Google.)
Hi, my name is Denny. I run operations
for YackPack. This means I make sure everyone has what they need
to do good work (including a paycheck!). I've run my own company
for 20 years. My motto isn't fancy, but it leads to success: "Do
what you say you're going to do." When I have free time, I
like watching the cooking channel and then inventing my own recipes.
They usually work, but sometimes they don't.

I’m Kim. I work
on all kinds of special projects for YackPack, from
conducting research to helping with customer support.
I also take care of quite a bit of the administrative “stuff” that
always needs to be attended to in every business. I
do have to admit the best part of my job is working
with an incredibly talented, creative and dedicated
team. I’ve worked with a variety of CEO’s
and Boards of Directors for a very long time and
the people here at YackPack are simply the best.
I love living in the beautiful Russian River valley
and like nothing better than paddling down the river
on a sunny afternoon.
Hello my name is Darren, I have been
working in the field of Information Technology for three decades
now. Here at YackPack, I work directly with the production and development
servers. Providing technology that is truly useful and that can also
add to the quality of life, is my passion. When I am not working
with computers I spend my time with my family enjoying Sonoma county.
Hi there. My name is Tanna. I work
in product management at YackPack. With 10 years of experience
in project and product management, I usually find myself riding
herd on the definition, direction, and operation of YackPack’s products
and services. When I’m not working, you can usually find
me on a plane to India ,
cooking for hundreds of people, or enjoying life on the wild Sonoma coast with my husband and two dogs.
Hi, my name is Demaris. I work on
legal matters and business development for YackPack. I worked
for a number of years representing start-up companies at Pillsbury
Winthrop in San Francisco , and continued
my practice up here when we decided to move to the country.
I live in the hills of DryCreekValley above
Healdsburg with my husband, our Jack Russell Terrier and a bounty
of wild animals. I love the outdoors, horseback riding and
traveling to distant and interesting places. And I am very
happy grandmother to four wonderful grandsons.
Hi, I'm Michael. I'm responsible
for software development at
YackPack. When I'm not busy starting (or helping start) companies
you
can usually find me geeking out over technology or gaming (current
addiction: WoW on a PVP server), or just outside playing with Gabe.
Hi, I'm Gabe. I am responsible for
bringing great joy to Michael and the YackPack team when I visit.
I am a Norwegian Lunderhund. My breed is believed to survived the
last ice age which explains my six toes.
